SwissdiverParticipantGoing to spend a few days in Saigon in early July. Any restaurant to recommend? Any limo company (other than Uber that is available there)?

tharringtonParticipantI understand Black Lane now operate in Saigon with both their Business and First class car service. Similar to Uber they connect you with a self-employed driver but you’re able to pre-book.

SwissdiverParticipantBrilliant, AST! Thanks.
tharrington: I don’t know Black Lane, but they seem expensive to me. If I compare their fare for a SUV from BKK airport to the Sofitel So, they are more expensive than the hotel pick up (for the same car).
And in Saigon, they do not go out of the city, it seems, something Uber does…

For a really different perspective on HCMC, try this student run tour – either walking on motorcycle (far better)

For really good food, try Spice Ca’phe – this is what I wrote about the place on Trip Advisor last August
“This small ca’phe is a must for the best light Vietnamese food in town – ideal for both a quick or lazy lunch. The spring rolls are to die for!! I have tasted both the pork and the duck and they are succulent and tasty. For me the brown rice (with red through it) is a meal in itself – a strong nutty flavour and a different world from the normal sticky rice which is found everywhere in this city. Top the wonderful food with friendly and helpful staff and strong wifi – what more could anyone want? “

SwissdiverParticipantOther question…
We want to visit the Mekong Delta, from Saigon (i.e. no overnight there). We could do it by speedboat (departing early from Saigon and coming back on the same evening) or by taking a car. Any recommendation?P.S.: I know, this is not really a business related question… Hope you won’t mind.
