QR timetable Dreamliner for LHR

Well spotted.

It’s interesting that on the days I checked around mid-January, it appears QR is surcharging J class on the B787.

From what I can see on the website, QR has withdrawn its Business restricted fare for flights operated by B787s.

So if you want to sample the B787 in January then you’ll pay a premium for the more spacious J class as you must upgrade to a higher price tier.

On January 8, it will cost a minimum of £1,830 to fly LHR-DOH on the B787 as against £1,555 for a flight on a B777 or A340.

On January 15, DOH-LHR costs £1,672 on the B787 whereas another plane type costs £1,397.

Economy class costs the same irrespective of plane type.

It will be interesting to see what passengers think of 3-3-3 on the B787 as against 3-3-3 on the B777’s wider cabin.
