The map to check availability for reward flights. It’s FUBAR’d again.

Trying to get to Quito, Ecuador, next year. Does anyone know how to redeem BA Avios on Iberia flights?

Hello TOH, availability to Quito ought to show up on BA’s website. Never bother with map myself.

Like Alexpo I don’t use the map if I already know where I want to go. I just did a couple of searches for flights to Quito using Avios. Not a lot of availability but there were some flights via Madrid on Iberia, and once via Miami on American

Sign into the avios site, it is all working on there.

Failing that use American to search availability.

If you transfer your avios from BA to an avios account, you can then book it all through that, then phone BA to put it up on your EC account for all your status benefits to apply.

Buggrit. I’ve just discovered I’ve got over 57,000 Avios there that I didn’t know I had.

OK, can I use my BA Avios with Iberia, and if so, how?

    TOH……

Go to Avios.com and on there you can move your Avios between BA, IB and Avios, in any direction. Easys!

    Household accounts sometimes stop you.

That’s going to be it. Personal account on Avios: household account on BA. Any way around it?

Interesting, as I was expecting you to say the opposite, as I have a personal Avios and a household BA that works OK.

Have you an Iberian to act as intermediary?

No. I think the household BA one is in my wife’s name, though. I’ve had problems with this before.
