Route expansion has been the name of the game for OpenSkies since its initial plans were scuppered by the Global Downturn.
Having retrenched from the AMS-JFK route, and redirected its Paris-New York routing to Newark, a Washington DC service was recently launched and the airline now has its sights set on the Francophone community in Canada.
COHOR, which allocates slots exMontreal, says that OpenSkies is to gain 728 slots to Paris, enough for a daily service using the airline's 757-200 fleet, configured in BizSeat and BizBed cabins. No official confirmation of this as yet.
BizSeat appears to be the old BA Cradle Seat, while BizBed is a reconditioned New Club World flat bed product most recently retired from BA mainline.
