I have recently been travelling from Bahrain to Oman on business and have had the pleasure of flying on Omanair for the flight (approximately one and a half hours).

I have now completed four sectors and have been consistently impressed.

The Business Class seating is 2:2 with a pitch of about 40 inches. Very comfortable for a short flight.

Hot towels were offered prior to take-off along with a soft drink and Arabic Coffee and dates. The inflight catering was light and enjoyable. The planes are modern and clean.

Checkin-in has been smooth and baggage delivery after the flight has been very prompt. The Muscat lounge is brand new and is as good as any others I have experienced.

Overall, very impressed with this young airline's shorthaul service and will definitely be trying their long haul routes in due course.

You will be just amazed at how good their business class seat is on longhaul aircraft A332,A333 !!!!!!!!!!.....Among the best and widest ever business class cabins I have ever sampled so far .....it is indeed a First Class standard of seat !....Thumbs up ,Oman Air !

Many thanks RBrown9, we will soon be travelling on a 737-800 and were wondering if the flight would be OK compared to the business cabin on the LHR route.
