Not so civil

Posts

I read a piece in the FT a couple of days ago regarding frequent flyer points, and the fact that civil servants are not allowed to collect them when travelling on business. That may be officially true, but speaking from experience i can tell you that the vast majority do, and i have not heard of any checks to dissuade them from doing so. I regularly collect hotel points and air miles when i travel with work - if i didn't they would just go to waste anyway.

Those I know collect the points but try not to spend them until they have left the civil service!
