AdrianHenryAsiaParticipantIt would appear the BA landing page has been dramatically revamped!!
What are people’s initial views? Lets hope it doesn’t attract as many negative comments as the Singapore Airlines website!!
Have just spent a few minutes looking at it and jury is out for me at the moment. Looks like lots of the content behind the main front page is still in the old format which is a shame as it now doesn’t have much consistency.

been_around_the_worldParticipantIt seems to me that BA might have taken a few ideas from EK’s site!?!

VintageKrugParticipantYes, I think a staged approach is prudent.
It looks cleaner than the previous iteration, which was becoming cluttered.
Haven’t looked at http://www.ba.com using AdBlocker yet; if you don’t yet have this, I’d recommend it muchly http://www.chromeadblock.com

ANDREWYOUNG1ParticipantI think BA, EK and VS have all used the same web designers – the sites all look very similar!

scotnut2407ParticipantVery nice indeed. And a much better phased introduction than VS did. I appreciate VS’ new site is a completely different style to their old one, but the way they phased the new pages in one by one made it very untidy. Now if BA were to extend the new look booking engine across all flights and not just select searches…

wanula72ParticipantLooks a bit like the BMI front page with the big banner pictures behind the search box. This is fine if you have decent internet speed but I find that on a slow connection the pictures can take a while to load, unless they use a different process compared to the BMI site?
Personally I do also find them distracting, expecially if they are highly coloured or with lots of detail.
The page also now requires to scroll down further than with the old site but that’s only to access the more informational data, were as I tend to focus only on the booking activity
Overall looks more modern, but lets see how they transition the further pages as I think the current search and flight booking screens are one of the best of all the airlines

FRANCESCABARNESParticipantLike it…..opened up to check-in online this morning and found it to be crystal clear and refreshing.

Henkel.TrockenParticipantLooks a bit like the bmi one has for quite some time. Maybe they will adopt some of the service standards and take the opportunity to up their game as part of the takeover.

LuganoPirateParticipantIt’s a definite improvement, though I think I’ve found a bug. Trying to make a booking in November the calendar would not go past Oct 3rd. When I entered the date manually the calendar popped up again with dates from November onwards.
