I flew into Bangkok 3 months ago, when I picked up my luggage, it was obvious that it had been tampered with, about £200.00 on goods missing. Turkish Airways does not have an office in Bangkok, and the agent never turns his phone on. I am still waiting for compensation, and now the company is ignoring all emails, having read some of the blogs, it would seem that they do this all the time, has anybody got any suggestions as to how to get a fair deal. Unfortunately I have a return flight with these clowns

Speaking as somebody who is still in litigation with Turkish Airlines I can only add to the advice given many, many times here on the forum – NEVER fly Turkish Airlines.

It is their inability to deal with problems when they occur that has caused problems for many contributors. Ignoring emails in a regretfully common tactic of theirs.

One tip that always works for me it to CC the CEO of the airline in the complaint. Most email addresses are easily found in the depths of the Internet with a bit of searching. There is one Middle Eastern airline which shall remain nameless, which are known for their sluggishness in replying to complaints. Usually on my third email, I CC the CEO and somehow manage to get a reply within the day. Well worth a try to find Hamdi or Temel’s email address.
