I am looking for any hotel recommendations for a 3 night stay in NYC in feb for my wife and I. We have previously stayed in the Midtown area but its time for a change and I was thinking of the Greenwich Village, Soho area.
Ideally a good 4 star or 5 star property. The Trump Soho looks nice, does anyone have recommendations about this hotel or any others in the area???
Many thanks in advance.

I used to like Soho 20 years ago when it was a little undiscovered ... my preference now is Tribeca, and the Greenwich Hotel. Very understated, comfortable and a lovely indoor pool & steam room.

Bullfrog's suggestion about Greenwich Hotel is the best. A friend of mine stayed there and he was very excited.
If you want more options I can recommend to you the Cooper Square Hotel.

I prefer to avoid staying in Manhattan unless absolutely necessary, and head out to the Hyatt on the Hudson:

Great views, and an easy five minute connection via PATH to WTC.
