Going on some previous comments on lufthansa
I would have thought business class and lufthansa was an oxymoron

Wonder if BA will respond any time soon ?
Never say never, Travellator, but three things make me think now.
Firstly, the travel period is quite some way ahead of BA's normal promotion 'horizon', not being until the Summer.
Secondly, not many of the routes are directly competitive, and a couple that are (CAI,TLV) usually go for similar fares in sales on BA anyhow.
And thirdly, these promos are coming almost monthly from DLH now, and have been for a few months now, with no directly comparable responses from BA or indeed AFKL, VS etc. There are also offers in Y, so the activity is across the bulk of seats.
Note that some of these J fares are also routable on LX too.

Please note that the sale exEurope also include North American destinations and the JV carriers are included (CO/UA, AC, LH, OS, BD, and OS).
I do concur that JNB for £1500 is attractive, perhaps not the right time of the year. The same price from ARN is £1700, representing £500 saving over current BA sales price (available until 5 Feb) and £1000 over the cheapest LX/LH normal price. So, a very good bargain I must add.
