I am a regular lufthansa economy traveler. The problem with the LH 747 fleet is that they have the worst inflight entertainment in economy. They have old CRT monitors which have lost color. If you sit in the emergency exit (32), then you have the privilege of watching a 10 inch LCD from 10 feet away. So, if you depend on inflight entertainment to survive the long flights, then avoid a 747 on Lufthansa. Their A330s are equipped with more acceptable inflight entertainment.
