Great shame. I suppose it will mean going back to TAP on this route now. I've used LH Italia quite often to Lisbon and elsewhere, though the plane was rarely full. Service was great, clean planes and great crew. There was something about LH FA's speaking Italian. It made them somehow more friendly (and dare I say sexier?) than when they speak German.

I wonder what they will do with the planes they bought for this route? Probably integrate them back into the regular LH fleet.

The aircraft will be used from other carriers of the Lufthansa Group.
