Any of the Arran Islands is worth a visit…. Be sure to fly from Inverin! The best 9 mins I ever spent in an aircraft (Concorde excluded!)

TominScotlandParticipanticenspice – you clearly have never been to the west of Ireland in the winter…. Along with many hotels in the remote west (Ireland and Scotland) seasonal closure is a business and meteorological necessity!!

K1ngstonParticipantrodders since your report I have been in contact with Marie at the hotel she is delightful, as this is exactly what my partner and I are looking for when we head back to Europe for our holidays this year, something off the beaten track…. I will update here once we have stayed there but thank you for the tips I cannot wait to sample their hospitality
