Correction: It's MAD-LHR flights ONLY...
Iberia flights from Madrid will arrive at London Heathrow's Terminal 5 from 25 March.
Iberia operates eight daily Madrid-London flights and moving into sister carrier British Airways' terminal will ensure good connections with all BA flights from Terminal 5, said the two carriers.
The minimum connection time between Heathrow Terminal 5 and Terminal 3, which is currently used by Iberia, is 90min. After the move it will drop to 60min, the partners added.
Iberia and British Airways flights have been located together at Madrid Barajas Airport's Terminal 4 since the facility opened in 2006.
Based on the above, can we clarify that the flights will depart Terminal 5 as well?
Looks like T5 will go down hill now Iberia sucks long delays be lot of pissed off people at T5 from now on and lot of pissed off people that use to fly from T5 move to T3 with longer connection's now.
LHR-MAD is the only Iberia route from LHR. BA took over all the BCN frequencies some time ago.
CORRECTION iB LHRMAD USE TERMINAL 4 AT MADRID. BA USE TERMINAL 4S WHICH IS WHERE INTERCONTINENTAL FLIGHTS ON IBERIA DEPART FROM
