Just had an email telling me that you can buy IB Avios and get 20% extra until the 23rd of December.
Max 24,000+4,800 bonus costs €459.00 EUR.

I saw this on flyertalk any one known if BA going to do the same?
BA are allowing silver and gold members to buy extra miles before year end but this is at the prevailing rate. They do not appear to be running the (excellent) bonus miles offer that appears from time to time.
