I logged onto Hilton recently to book a hotel in Paris. It showed a new one shortly available close to the original Paris Hilton off Avenue Suffren. When I went back to book the next day, it had disappeared ??? Does anyone have any news……..or was I dreaming?

There used to be a Hilton off Suffren but it was rebranded to, if memory serves, Sofitel or Pullman. This is going back a bit though, to probably 2010.

Yes, what was a Hilton at 18 Ave Suffren is now a Pullman property:

I agree the one off Avenue Suffren was the original Hilton Paris….a wonderful hotel. It is now part of Accor. and I have avoided it for that reason. However I am referring to another Hilton which appeared briefly on there web site as a third Hilton in central Paris. But it has disappeared. !!!!

The Hilton at Orly is a competent, but uninspiring airport hotel.

    Don’t know the others.

Very surprised to hear that the Astor is now a Hilton. I stayed there for a while in around 2006 when it was a small privately owned boutique style hotel. Great location nr the Elysee Palace but not big and many of the rooms were pretty small.

Good morning. The Hiltons Opera and Astor were briefly joined by a third central Paris Hotel near the Eiffel Tower (and not the original one) but it disappeared from the Hilton site the next day !!! I think it said it was taking bookings from later this year.
