Emirates and hand luggage

Dear All,

Can anyone tell me how strict Emirates are with business class pax over size of hand luggage? Their website seems to indicate taht my carry-on suitcase (which I have taken on countless BA flights over the years) is too big to take on board. Do they enforce this strictly, or will they turn a blind eye as long as I'm not taking the p*ss?

Also, I undertsand that on flights out of India at the moment, one can't carry on anything much bigger than a crisp packet - is this the case?

I am not sure about flts from inida but my experience on emirates is that they are lenient about business class passengers. As long as the package is not over size then I think you will be ok. If you have taken on BA then you should be ok with emirates. BA is alot stricter.
