Duty free bought in Bandaranaike Airport as a carry-on?

    OK, I’m an idiot. This is a re-post because I first mentioned Doha.

    Travelling on the 15th from Colombo to LHR via Doha. If I buy duty-free spirits in Colombo airport will I be allowed to take them through security at Doha as a carry-on? Don’t think my connection time allows enough leeway for shopping in Doha airport (only 50 minutes.
