Travelling via Emirates to India ( UK - Dubai - India) . At T3 in Dubai will I need to go through immigration and security again? Also is there a smoking area. Any help appreciated.

Travelling via Emirates to India ( UK - Dubai - India) . At T3 in Dubai will I need to go through immigration and security again? Also is there a smoking area. Any help appreciated.
Immigration - no, security - yes. But liquids are no issue there. Smoking area is in T1 (10 minutes walk), not sure for T3.
Smoking is possible. In the transit area (both before and after security) there are smoking rooms.
Dubai being a copy cat city has security everywhere these days even at events. Considering no one would dare to commit any offence due to harsh and severe laws. Be careful as recently in the paper I read that someone got deported for pointing his middle finger at an officer.
No need to go through immigration; just make sure you have your onward boading pass. There are smoking "rooms" assigned frequesntly throughout the terminal. If you are Business Class on Emirates, there is a smoking section at the very end of the large T3 Business Class Lounge.
