Best intra-europe Business?

Recently flew Air Serbia from LHR to Belgrade. WOWWW. All I can say is I was totally blown away.
The route was served by a narrow body A319 from Terminal 4 and Etihads investment is glaring. Lounge access was to the Etihad lounge at T4 which was a treat in itself. The aircraft is kitted out with eight ‘proper’ regional Business Class seats. Comfortable, wide, great pitch, IFE equipped. Wifi on board for free in Business. Friendly crew, immaculate in stylish uniforms. Drink after take off served with warmed nuts. Fantastic catering on board – a choice of two hot lunch options (dine on demand). The return was a mirror of the outbound with Air Serbia’s own ‘Premium Lounge’ in Belgrade whilst small was fantastic. Both flights bang on time.
The only negative – i’ll only get to fly them again if I happen to find myself travelling to Belgrade which is unlikely 🙁
Oh to have middle eastern friends with lots of ££$$!! 🙂

ViajeroUKParticipantVery similar to my experience last year Paris to Belgrade, (review posted 18/04/2015). Air Serbia must be the only Euro airline with such an excellent offering for short haul flights.
My only negative at the time was lack of on line check in, maybe this has changed since I flew, and of course the fact it’s not an area I go to often.
Two Latin American airlines that I have used in the last six months also have proper business class seats on domestic/short haul routes, Aero Mexico and Aerolineas Argentinas, but their cabin service and meals are not a patch on Air Serbia.

I do endorse those comments fully on Air Serbia as I had posted similar comments a few months ago on the airline s inter European superb Business Class product that puts to shame most other Business Class products offered by legacy carriers !
I had the pleasure of flying them from Istanbul to Dusseldorf via BEG in Dec 2014 and have been trying ever since to go out of my way to book them .I think my efforts will pay off soon !!!..
It is a product that together with EY ( the owner ) they should have marketed much more given its exceptionally good standards !
Just to add ,their one way fares between various city pairs in Europe in business class were extremely mouthwatering for quite some time till they started to raise them dramatically making their one way fares more expensive than round trips .Round trips fare levels are within the market range now ,but still their standards are in a league of their own !
They might not be the most obvious option to JFK from Europe given the backtrack via BEG but they are still a great alternative if you are starting your journey in IST,ATH,LCA,BEY,AUH ..
Their product is of a better standard than the mother company s EY ..
