BA to rebrand?

According to this article BA is preparing a "root and branch overhaul" of its branding this autumn:

IMHO pretty pointless re-branding until the IR is resolved or the new brand may be tainted.

From the substance of the article it is a relaunch of brand based marketing rather than rebranding the airline (which in my view would be unnecessary).

How about rebranding as London Airways rather than British Airways to reflect the only part of this country they actually serve?

Such an initiative just may entice me back (hoping they re-evaluate some of their excessive charges though!).
