BA Sale Fares Loaded - World Traveller & World Traveller Plus

Posts

Though there's nothing yet showing on their homepage, fares are now loaded for the next BA Economy and Premium Economy Sale:

A sample LHR-EZE has come down from £1150 to £800 in World Traveller; £1533 to £1150 in World Traveller Plus.

Book by 26 January 2010, but obviously the best availability is showing now before the official announcement.

As usual, the best deals seem to be on US World Traveller Plus fares that can be upgraded to Club World (perhaps with some recently awarded ex-gratia miles ;-)) - which represent real bargains.

If other BT Forumeers spot other noteworthy offers, then do please post!

The sale has been extended to conclude on the 9th February.

Does anyone know when the next business sale will be on?

Expat_Consultant - 22/01/2010 00:45 GMT

With a bit of luck, they may not even be on strike!

Though little is certain in life, recent precedent would suggest that it's likely that there will be a few weeks of non-sale trading after the end of the World Traveller and World Traveller Plus sale, and then some premium cabin offers will come along.

The current sale may be an opportunity to bag a discounted World Traveller Plus fare, however, and use BA Miles to upgrade to Club.

There is also, currently, a 'buy a Club return, get a one-way upgrade to First' offer available:

Loyal_BA: just to prove that precedent is no guide (!), Business Traveller is now reporting on the homepage of this site that the premium cabin sale will begin on January 27.

My agency is getting BA Club Sale fares next Thursday 21 day apex on business/leisure routes and 14 day apex on pure leisure routes hope this helps.

glad to see everyone has the same info as me though not sure why the time was edited on contenentalclub post to put it above mine other than the fact that business traveller wanted to appear to be first with news.

continentalclub - 25/01/2010 18:44 GMT

Don't think there's been any editing, Cameron - the time stamp on my post looks correct to me, from memory.

Was yours your first post, by any chance? I think perhaps initial posts are moderated or at least take some time to go live - which may explain the apparent delay in posting!

BusinessTraveller - 26/01/2010 09:13 GMT

To confirm, no times are ever edited on any forum posts - we don't have the facility to do so even if we wanted to. All forum posts go live immediately (barring the occasional server issue).

Just a quick prompt to remind Business Traveller readers that the current sale ends in less than 24 hours, at midnight GMT on the 9th February.

As noted elsewhere, the sale now includes Club and First as well as World Traveller and World Traveller Plus.
