    As promoted in today’s Head for Points email, a web-based version of the iOS app which lets you check availability across a city pair for the next 355 days. Am told it’s a lot better than the app too.

    I’ve tried it & it seems to work well.

    thats quite a cute web app. You have to know the codes, but it seems to work.. Also saves time when you can see there are ZERO F for the next 348 days 😉

    What is the iOS app called?. can’t find that

    According to this http://www.headforpoints.com/2014/06/28/avios-flight-finder-app-launched/

    It’s called the Avios Flight Finder, but seems not to return results as well as the web version. I’m on Android so can’t comment either way.

    Other posters have said you have to be in the UK app store, whatever that means!

    Is there any way of viewing a chart of Avios upgrade availability either on the BA website or the Executive Club website. I spoke to Silver Line who told me I would have to check each day for the year ahead!

    @mckol74

    Loaded the Avios app and tried for dates next Feb for JNB but said no premium seats available. Went to BA.com and was offered availability on Avios bookings for F and J on the dates.

    So the app doesn’t seem to be reliable.

    Only works if you are traveling from London and does not deal with people who live and work abroad flying to London!

    Shame!!!!!

    @openfly I wonder if it’s something to do with us being on the cusp of 330 days out.

    Perhaps worth contacting http://timrogers.uk/ who developed it to a: make him aware & b: see if he can explain what may have caused it.
