Anyone else having a nightmare with the combine your Avios link?
I have tried around twenty times and it either shows an error message or lets you through one stage then tells you in red ink and four languages the session has timed out.

    just me?

As another poster might say “chill out”.

This is the very first day of the process, demand will be high, and there’s absolutely no rush unless you’re trying to make an urgent redemption.

Here’s the link for when the time comes, just sign in to reach the page you need:

I’m waiting until the weekend to transfer my bmi miles, and am looking forward once again to a seven figure balance in my avios account.

It’s generally better netiquette to keep posting in an existing thread rather than starting a new topic.

Yes I could do that or I could use this forum to articulate to BA the link they sent out to facilitate the transfer of points from Diamond Club to BA is not working for everyone.
Enjoy your points and hopefully a trouble free transfer.

My transfer worked first time round. Yes, it was slow (to be expected due to volume of demand) but it is a pretty effortless process! They could have made people submit online (or even hard copy) forms – imagine the delays there! All in all, I think they have done a very good job of it.

BD miles all moved over no problem to BA AVIOS this morning on the first attempt – a little slow – but all worked out.

Guys I congratulate all on their computer prowess and good fortune with their points transfer. Can we call it a day on this now?
