I am likely to have a 5 hour transit at O’Hare in the near future, with family who have not been to Chicago.

Can anyone recommend the best way to get a ‘taste of Chicago’ from the airport? Are there tours that start/ end there? Are there reliable companies that will do a bespoke tour (for 4)?

    Any advice would be welcomed.

    Morning Tom
It’s been a while since I’ve been to Chicago, a wonderful city but I’m afraid I wouldn’t risk it if you’ve only got a 5 hour layover.

And if my grey cells aren’t letting me down, the best way to get from O’hare down to the lake is by the transit system, but I’m sure it took 45 minutes. Add in immigration and you’re timings become tighter than 2 coats of paint!!

What I would have recommended is the “Al Capone tour”

    Good luck and happy travels

Thanks, canucklad – we’re arriving domestic so immigration is not a problem. Al Capone sounds a super idea!!
