Having worked in the travel industry for my years than I care to admit, I yesterday came across the Air NZ website showing flight departures and arrivals using the 12 hour clock (am / pm)..... are they alone or is this a mad move to infuriate passengers and cause Air NZ staff extra stress?
The 12 Hour clock is often used by US based airlines.

I seriously doubt they are breaking out and trying to infuriate the world. The NZ Japan, Continental Europe, UK and several other worldwide sites still show the 24-hour clock.
If their NZ site had previously used 24-hr, perhaps it is just an error that it was somehow switched.
Their times all show a.m. and p.m., so while might be unusual in some areas, doesn't seem like a big deal. People accustomed to 12-hour clocks can certainly adapt when confronted with 24-hr times.
