I think this came up as a topic the other day. There is a distinct disparity between the offers given to US versions of UK based airline credit cards i.e. BA and Virgin compared to the UK...

Many international companies offer (very) different prices and service levels in different territories. Logical marketing from the company's point of view, annoying for the customers in the market getting poorer service. A possible way around this classic economic problem is to buy in the cheap market. In the case of the USA, companies such as www.oneusaaddress.com and www.myus.com offer USA based residential-type mailing addresses.

However, you would need a Social Security number (not that difficult to get) and a good credit history at a US address (less easy) to be eligible for the credit card in the first place.

It would however be better value to redeem the 100k in four chunks, using 25k BA Miles to upgrade round trip from Premium Economy to www.newclubworld.com
