Taj Exotica Resort and Spa has made its debut in the Andaman Island.

The hotel is located on Radhanagar beach on Havelock island, 69km away from Port Blair International Airport. Guests have to travel for two hours and 30 minutes by ferry, followed by a 30-minute drive to reach the secluded property from the airport.

The 46-acre resort features 75 modern villas that are built on stilts.  The spacious villas (146 sqm) feature a king-size bed flanked by a walk-in closet, and a bathroom with rain shower and bathtub that overlooks the island.  Inspired by Jarawa tribe huts, the villa includes outdoor deck chairs and beds under a semi-circular thatched roof for an al-fresco experience.  Other in-room amenities include a private bar, an electronic safe, free wifi for up to two devices and an LED TV with international channels.

The hotel curates experiences like kayaking through mangroves, bird watching at Chidiyatapu, turtle nesting, game fishing, snorkelling and scuba diving.

The Settlers, a restaurant inspired by the immigrant communities of the island and Turtle House, a poolside bistro that serves continental cuisine are its F&B outlets.

In tune with its environmental policy, Taj has set up a bottling plant, compost-waste disposal system and sanitation treatment plant to preserve the fragile ecosystem of the island.

The inaugural offer on a one-night stay in a Deluxe Villa starts from ₹25,000, available for booking until April 15, 2018.
