China Airlines will codeshare with Air France on the three weekly non-stop Paris flights commencing on April 16, 2018.
The codeshare service will be operated by Air France, who recently announced their return to Taiwan after a 20-year break.
Flight CI9237 will depart Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport at 1025 every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday, arriving in Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport at 1620. The return flight CI9238 will leave Paris every Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 1335, arriving in Taipei at 0815 the next day.
A launch promotion is now available on China Airlines website, with Taipei-Paris economy class return tickets starting from TWD18,500/US$625 (plus tax).
The new codeshare service represents further expansion by China Airlines into the European market: the airline also launched non-stop flights to London in December.
