Singapore Airlines (SIA) will increase the number of flights to South Africa’s Cape Town from four to seven per week from March 26, 2018 (subject to regulatory approval).
The airline currently operates flights to Cape Town via Johannesburg on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
Additional services will be launched on Monday, Thursday and Saturday operating under the same flight code SQ478 (Singapore–Johannesburg–Cape Town) and SQ479 (Cape Town–Johannesburg–Singapore).
All flights will be served with the A350-900 aircraft. The aircraft seats 253 customers in three classes, with 42 in Business Class, 24 in Premium Economy Class and 187 in Economy Class.
