ONYX Hospitality Group has opened a new Amari property in Sri Lanka’s coastal city of Galle. It is the brand’s third hotel in the country and offers access to tourist spots like Galle Fort, Unawatuna and Hikkaduwa. The resort is two and a half hours away from the international airport in Colombo.
Amari Galle has 172 rooms, all of which offer direct sea views and have private balconies. Deluxe Ocean View, Deluxe Terrace Ocean View and Grand Deluxe Ocean View rooms; One Bedroom suites and a 360sqm presidential suite complete with a roof terrace and a private plunge pool are the accommodation types.
Its F&B outlets include the market-style restaurant where guests and the chef can interact, rooftop bar Bommu and Voyager Lounge The resort offers a banquet to host events, meetings, seminars and workshops. Breeze Spa, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre are some of its leisure facilities.
