Members of Emirates’ Skywards frequent-flyer programme can now earn Skywards Miles when using the Mileslife app, a direct airline miles and points-earning platform.

For every SG$1 (US$0.7) spent on hotels, dining, spas and other leisure activities using the Mileslife app, Skywards members can up to five miles along with additional miles based on their Skywards tier.

For example, Silver members will earn an extra 25 per cent bonus miles per purchase, while Gold members will get 50 per cent and Platinum members 75 per cent bonus miles. The two companies will also be running a triple miles offer on all purchases made via Mileslife until November 30.

Members can also accrue 200 miles just by linking up their accounts to Mileslife.

“With this newly established partnership with Mileslife, we will be creating more ways for our members in both Singapore and China to earn Skywards Miles across lifestyle brands,” said Nejib Ben Khedher, the rewards programme’s senior vice president.

Currently, the benefits extend primarily to local and travel merchants in China and Singapore – Mileslife was launched in China in 2015 and entered the Singapore market in June this year.

There are numerous ways to earn Skywards Miles via Mileslife, including spas and wellness centres, boutique hotels and train travel. A number of dining options also offer points accrual, such as Michelin-starred restaurant Bacchanalia in Singapore, along with hotel groups including Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts, and The Fullerton Hotels, among others.

“We are committed to making miles collection more convenient, not just in the skies, but also on the ground,” said Mileslife’s CEO, Troy Liu. “Digitally savvy visitors flying to Singapore, and locals, will be able to wine and dine at their favourite restaurants and indulge in spa experiences with minimal fuss when it comes to miles collection.”
