Vistara rewards passengers for booking directly with them

Vistara has launched “Vistara Direct”, a programme that rewards its passengers with benefits for buying tickets directly from airvistara.com or Vistara’s mobile app.

Sanjiv Kapoor, the chief strategy and commercial officer at Vistara said, “Booking directly with Vistara offers customers a number of advantages, such as lower fees, assured communications and notifications regarding their travel, the ability to pre-select their seats, along with exclusive offers such as upgrades at attractive rates and other ancillary products and services to help customers enhance their journey. Now with Vistara Direct, we are offering an additional array of valuable and tangible benefits to customers who book directly on our website or mobile app to make their journeys even more seamless and hassle free. This is just one of the many things we have in the pipeline to provide the best travel experience possible to airline customers in India.”

Vistara Direct benefits include one free change or cancellation within 24 hours of booking (only for flights scheduled to take off seven days or more from date of booking), free fast track priority handling at the airport at dedicated check-in and boarding counters, double Club Vistara (CV) points for members of its loyalty programme, and an additional 5kg check-in luggage allowance across all cabin classes.

Further, if paying through MobiKwik for tickets booked Vistara’s platforms, passengers gain from a 10 per cent cash-back up to ₹600 in the form of SuperCash. MobiKwik is a mobile phone based payment system, and SuperCash is its digital currency.
