Malaysia Airlines’ first A350 has been given its official livery in Toulouse, ahead of its end of November delivery to the Malaysian flag carrier.

Photos of the aircraft have been making the rounds on social media.

While the carrier has previously earmarked Auckland and Tokyo for the aircraft’s routes, travellers between Kuala Lumpur and London can also expect to fly on the aircraft starting January 15.

The aircraft will fly just one of the airline’s two daily services on its London Heathrow route to begin with – the other continuing to be operated by the A380 until early March. A single daily flight between Kuala Lumpur and London requires two A350s.

In total, the carrier will lease a total of six of the aircraft.
