Emaar Hospitality Group, headquartered in Dubai, has announced that it will expand into South Asia with its first management contract to operate Address Madivaru Maldives Resort + Spa.

The contract is a partnership signed with Maldivian company, Finolhu Investment.

Address Madivaru Maldives Resort + Spa will not only enhance our reputation as a global hospitality provider but also add value to the local economy through its role in promoting premium tourism and holiday home investments.”

This property in the Maldives is built on a private island in the Indian Ocean and is a 20-minute flight via a seaplane from Male International Airport.

Address Madivaru Maldives Resort + Spa is scheduled to be operational in 2020 and will span over a total area of 75,000 sqm. It will include a dedicated spa island, water sports island, a number of F&B options including floating restaurants and lounges, presidential suites, beach villas, water villas, over-water fitness facilities and swimming pools.

The resort is part of Emaar Hospitality Group’s international expansion plans that has an additional 29 upcoming projects in the UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Turkey. In the UAE, the group already has three serviced residences and 11 operational hotels.

The upcoming international projects under the brand include Jabal Omar Address Makkah in Saudi Arabia; Address Marassi Golf Resort + Spa and Address Marassi Beach Resort in Egypt; Address Istanbul and Address Residences Emaar Square Istanbul in Turkey; and Address Marassi Al Bahrain.
