Thai passengers who book a return flight on Emirates’ flights to Dubai from either Bangkok or Phuket will, for a limited time, be eligible to receive a free visa to the UAE.

In order to qualify, travellers must book a return ticket on one of Emirates’ 49 weekly flights from Bangkok or twice-daily flights from Phuket before August 14 this year, for travel taking place by the end of November.

According to the airline, Thai nationals travelling on these flights will be eligible for a visa valued at THB3,000 (US$90). Emirates’ website lists this as a single-entry tourist visa valid for 30 days from the arrival date, that is non-extendable.

Return fares on these two services start from THB16,730 (US$498) for economy and THB48,180 (US$1,434) for business class. Emirates also operates its own lounge at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport, eligible for premium passengers as well as Platinum and Gold Skywards members.
