Serviced apartment operator The Ascott Limited has unveiled the renovated Citadines Barbican.

The London property now features 129 refurbished studio and one-bedroom apartments, with free wifi, newly-equipped air conditioning and heating units, and complimentary Handy smartphones.

There is also a new guest exercise room, as well as a business corner with PC and printer access.

The renovations have also seen a Sourced market outlet incorporated, offering guests and the public “fresh, seasonal and sustainable meals and products from artisan producers such as Dalston Chillies, Billy Franks, Quello, Jarr Kombucha, Crosstown Doughnuts and Origin Coffee”.

A soft launch promotion is running until May 21, with 50 per cent off food at Sourced Market during the day, and 50 per cent off drink during the evening.

Ascott recently announced plans to debut its Citadines brand in the US next year, with a property located on New York’s Fifth Avenue.
