Moxy Hotels opens first London property

Marriott has opened the first London property under its lifestyle Moxy Hotels brand, and the second in the UK.

Located on Dockside Road close to Royal Albert DLR station, the new-build Moxy London Excel offers 164 rooms with sound-reducing walls, 42-inch LCD TVs, free wifi, USB ports and deep-seated armchairs “in calming, neutral fabrics”.

The hotel also features a meeting room with natural daylight, a gym with signature pink punching bag, photo booth inspired hotel lifts, the Living Room, offering “abundant power and USB outlets, and furiously fast and free wifi for ultimate connectivity”, and self-service dining concept 24/7 B&F.

Marriott is currently offering opening rates at the hotel from £89.

Moxy London Excel joins the recently opened Moxy Aberdeen Airport. The brand launched in Milan in 2014, and has sinced added properties in Tempe, Munich airport, New Orleans, Frankfurt Eschborn and Berlin.
