Air Astana is to increase flights to London Heathrow later this year, with a fifth weekly non-stop service launching on June 4.

The new frequency will operate on Sundays, departing Heathrow Terminal 4 at 1715 and arriving into Astana at 0540 the following day.

The return leg will leave the Kazakhstan capital 1455, landing into London at 1605.

The new service adds to existing departures from Heathrow on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

The route is operated with a three-class B757, configured for 16 business class seats, 108 in economy, and 12 “Economy Sleeper seats”, which offer a guaranteed row of three seats at the front of the economy cabin.

Return fares start from £498 in economy, £1,505 for an Economy Sleeper, and £1,968 in business class.
