Flybe has confirmed it will launch its first services from London Heathrow next year, with two new routes to Aberdeen and Edinburgh.
As reported by Business Traveller last week, the regional carrier had applied for so called “remedy slots” originally used by Bmi, before being acquired by Virgin Atlantic for its short-lived Little Red domestic operation.
Flybe’s Heathrow services will operate from Terminal 2, and the airline will be aiming to capture a share of the transfer market to and from the airport, with what it calls its “One Stop to the World” connectivity with codeshare and interline partners including Virgin and Singapore Airlines.
Flights will commence on March 26, 2017, with fares from £39.99 one way, and will operate as follows:

Flybe already offers flights from London City airport to Aberdeen and Edinburgh, and with the new Heathrow services will operate up to 18 flights per day between London and Edinburgh, and ten between London and Aberdeen.
