Conrad has opened a new hotel within walking distance of Chicago’s Magnificent Mile shopping district.
Located on Erie Street, the 20-storey hotel features 287 rooms including 24 suites and two “hospitality suites”. It also has 930 sqm of event and meeting space.
Other facilities include American and Italian restaurants, with menus designed by celebrity chef Richard Sandoval. A Japanese restaurant, also developed by Sandoval, is set to open next summer.
The hotel will also be the first to offer guests Conrad’s 1/3/5 experience for free, which, through virtual reality headsets, shows guests options of things to do and places to see if they have one, three or five house in the city.
This is Conrad’s 28th hotel worldwide, with plans to open properties in Guangzhou, Osaka, Fort Lauderdale and Bengalaru in 2017.
