Virgin Atlantic is to carry out refurbishment works at its Heathrow T3 Clubhouse, ahead of the lounge’s 10th anniversary next year.

The carrier’s Heathrow Clubhouse webpage currently shows a message advising of the works, and Virgin has provided Business Traveller with the following statement:

“Next year our Heathrow Clubhouse celebrates its tenth anniversary, and to mark the occasion we’re investing in a makeover to further improve the experience we deliver to customers.

“The refurbishment will be completed by spring 2017, and the clubhouse will remain open throughout this period. We will announce further details about the exciting new features early next year.”

The carrier said that “small areas will be closed off section by section as we carry out refurbishment”, but stressed that there would be no reduced capacity or closures during the refurbishment period.

The Heathrow Clubhouse is open to Upper Class and Gold Flying Club members, as well as Delta One passengers. Business Traveller recently reviewed the facility.
