Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has opened Hotel City Star Jeddah, its third establishment in Jeddah and 11th in Saudi Arabia.
The hotel has 228 rooms and suites and is located a 15 minute drive away from King Abdulaziz International Airport.
All rooms and suites include free Wi-Fi, HD LED TV, marble bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities, soundproof windows and blackout blinds. Executive rooms and suites also include access to the hotel’s executive lounge.
Lower-cost Superior rooms offer 35 sqm of space, and include either a king or two twin beds. Rates start at £199.
Deluxe rooms cover 45 sqm, and offer one king sized bed and a combined bath tub and shower, beginning at £230
Executive rooms are 35 sqm, and allow guests to choose between a king or two twin beds. Breakfast, high-speed internet, two pieces of laundry, and airport drop-off are all included for £220.
Executive Deluxe rooms offer all the same amenities with 45 sqm of space and one king bed, for £251.
Business suites offer the addition of a separate living room for a total of 60 sqm of space. Guests can choose between one king or two twin beds, and can add an extra twin bed for a charge. Business suites offer all the amenities of an Executive room plus private checkout on the ninth floor, beginning at £333.
Deluxe suites span 75 sqm, with a king bed, separate guest bathroom and combined bathtub and shower in the ensuite bathroom, and all previously mentioned amenities. Rates start at £416.
Diplomatic suites are intended for extended stays, with two bathrooms, a bedroom with one king bed and a living area that includes a dining table for a total of 85 sqm. All amenities are included, starting at £457.
Family suites measure 100 sqm, with two separate bedrooms with their own ensuite bathrooms and a living area with a guest bathroom and work station. Amenities include breakfast at the Al Deira restaurant, private check-in, and a separate bathroom and shower in the master bedroom. Rates begin at £457.
Largest of all is the 160 sqm Royal Suite. The first floor of the duplex suite includes a living and dining area with a guest bathroom and a bedroom with twin beds and an ensuite bathroom featuring a separate bath and shower. The master bedroom covers the second floor, and includes a Jacuzzi spa bath in its private bathroom. The suite has panoramic views of the city and all previously mentioned amenities.
Mövenpick Hotel City Star Jeddah offers a ballroom for events of up to 600 guests, as well as eight other meeting rooms that accommodate 25-85 guests.
Three restaurants are located inside the hotel: Al Deira, the main restaurant which serves a mix of Arabian and international cuisine, is open 6:30-23:30; Al Moltaqa Café, which serves coffee, tea, and pastries is open 7:00-24:00; Al Zohoor Garden, located next to the hotel’s rooftop pool, serves beverages, shisha, and snacks from 19:00-1:00.
The hotel’s Al Maha Health Club offers an outdoor pool, gym, and spa services, but is available to men only.
To celebrate its opening, the hotel is offering a 25 percent discount on nightly rates.
