Emirates has revamped its corporate Business Rewards programme.

The airline says the programme “has been simplified and made more competitive to allow for easier redemptions and upgrades even on last minute bookings”.

Changes include the ability to use Business Rewards Points to book any commercially available seat at any time.

The airline has also introduced a ‘Guest Traveller’ function allowing organisations to add “non-company persons, such as consultants, or clients who travel on behalf of the organisation, and still earn Business Rewards Points”.

Those organisations previously enrolled continue to be members, although all Business Rewards points balances were reset last month (August 2016) with vouchers being sent out to organisations for the value of the Business Points they had previously accrued. Under the new programme, there is also no restriction on enrolment with regard to organisation size.

Enrolled organisations earn one Business Rewards Point for every USD 1 spent. (Note that this is only the base airfare, including carrier charges but excluding taxes and other industry partner charges. In addition Business Rewards Points are only earned on Emirates flights, and not on codeshare, interline or other partner flights).

Individuals who are already Emirates Skywards members will earn Skywards Miles and Tier Miles at the normal rate.
