“Trees and timber” is the design theme for the new facilities, with neutral shades, panelled walls and artistic details such as a carving of Taiwan island, as well as a three-metre bas-relief sculpture depicting Taipei 101 and the Xinyi district skyline in the Terminal 2 facility.
