THAI to introduce First Class on Bangkok-Dubai service

THAI Airways will introduce First Class to its daily Bangkok-Dubai service, starting December 1 as the carrier upgrades to an Airbus A340-600. This will allow THAI to offer a three-class configuration on the route.
The new aircraft also increases Business Class capacity on the route to 60 seats.
Flight TG517 leaves Bangkok at 1730 and arrives in Dubai at 21.40, while the return flight TG518 departs Dubai at 2315 and arrives in Bangkok at 0835 the next day.
The First Class cabin offers eight electronically controlled sleeper seats, which recline to 180 degrees and offer a 76-inch pitch. Each seat features a personal stowage bin, lumbar support and massage, leg and foot rest, personal video monitor, telephone and a laptop power outlet.
Passengers booking these seats enjoy the following on-ground services:
• First Class check-in counter in Dubai and Bangkok,
• Complimentary Royal First Class Lounge access at Suvarnabhumi Airport
• Access to the Royal Orchid Spa at Suvarnabhumi Airport
• Complimentary limousine transfers within UAE when ticket is issued in the UAE
