SIA to expand codeshare deal with EgyptAir on Singapore-Cairo route

Singapore Airlines (SIA) will offer a daily service from Singapore to Cairo starting June 1. An expanded codeshare deal with EgyptAir increases the existing four-weekly service via Dubai to seven.
Passengers will be able to enjoy SIA’s daily flights to Dubai and then connect to Cairo on EgyptAir. From Cairo, they can fly to other destinations on EgyptAir’s network such as Luxor and Sharm el-Sheikh.
The airline pact also enables EgyptAir customers to travel on SIA codeshare flights from Singapore to Bangkok, Sydney and Melbourne.

You've got to be kidding! SQ only codeshares with Egyptair cos they're a Star Alliance partner, and a very poor one at that.
Egyptair is 'dry' which means it does not serve alcohol. Its business class is nowhere near as what it is on Singapore Airlines and you can imagine what its' going to be like in economy class.
