Shangri-La to introduce second Traders Hotel in Hong Kong

Shangri-La is will open a second Traders Hotel in Hong Kong in 2015.
This announcement comes after the hotel group won a bid for the acquisition of a government property at Hung Hom Bay. Shangri-La Asia Limited will operate a multi-use complex at the site, which will include the Traders Hotel, and two podium floors for contemporary retail, lifestyle and entertainment facilities. A transport interchange within the building will offer easy access to the surrounding areas including the upcoming cruise terminal.
The 15-storey hotel will feature 698 guestrooms, with most enjoying unobstructed views of Victoria Harbour. There will also be three dining options, a 1,000 sqm health club and an outdoor swimming pool. For business purposes, meetings facilities will include a 700 sqm ballroom.
