Hilton Hotels has opened Hilton Garden Inn Riyadh Olaya, its first Hilton Garden Inn property in Saudi Arabia.
Situated on Olaya Street in the heart of Riyadh’s business district, the new property boasts 180 rooms and suites featuring the self-adjusting, pressure-relieving Garden Sleep System bed, complimentary wired and wireless internet access, secure and remote printing to the business centre and a workspace.
Other facilities include three meeting rooms, a gym, two dining options (Oasis Grill and Pavilion Pantry) and a 24-hour convenience mart that provides on-the-go snacks and sundries.
“The opening marks the entry of our first mid-market mid-priced brand into the region. This is expected to be the first of many Hilton Garden Inn hotels in Saudi Arabia that we are developing with the owners, the Al Hokair Group,” said Essam Abouda, vice-president operations, Hilton Hotels, Arabian Peninsula and Indian Ocean.
More Hilton Garden Inn properties have been planned for locations such as Al Khobar, Dammam, Jubail, King Abdullah Economic City, Taif, Abha, Tabuk, Hail/Buraydah and Yanbu.
