Oman Air has announced increased frequencies for flights to Chennai and Delhi due to “strong demand.”
Effective immediately, four additional services have been added to the Muscat-Chennai route, making it an 11 times per week operation, up from daily. The extra services operate on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. From February 1, three more flights will be added to this route to make it a double-daily service.
On the Muscat-Delhi flight, one additional service has been added to the daily service, (operating on Sundays) and from February 1, it will also become a twice-daily service with six extra flights.

For both routes, the two-class Boeing 737-800 aircraft will be used, with 12 seats in business class and either 144 or 142 seats in the economy cabin.
